QUALITY FIRE TANK INSPECTIONS AND REPAIRS IN PORT MELBOURNE

We offer inspection of fire tanks for 3- and 10-year inspections as required by AS 2304-2011. We provide water storage tanks for fire protection systems and insurance companies. The benefit of utilising divers is that we can conduct inspections and minor repairs on the same day, making it a more cost-effective solution than ROV’s. For example, we can remove debris, vacuum tanks and conduct minor liner repairs on the spot.

We can undertake repairs, including leak detection, installation of replacement liners, new roof support post, vortex plates, trash screens, ladders and external safety feature upgrades. Works can be conducted as AS2299.2015 commercial diving operations or under confined space operations with empty tanks. Confined space operations are all conducted as per AS 2865 – 1995. We do are safe working in confined spaces, including certified operators and supervisors, air analysis, confined space permit systems and breathing apparatus.
