East West Dive & Salvage are able to conduct contaminated diving operations in sewage treatment plants (effluent, chlorination treatment, aeration zones, anoxic zones), abattoirs, sewers, stormwater and food processing plants. We have encapsulated diving equipment which isolates the diver from the contaminants. Works in these areas would sometimes not be possible. Divers are able to conduct repairs, alterations, modifications, cleaning, dredging to equipment and services including mixers, aerators, gates and pipes, Diving can be a more cost-effective solution than draining tanks and decontaminating. All dive equipment and items removed from contaminated water are sterilised after use.

IS THERE ANY RISK CROSS CONTAMINATION WITH POTABLE WATER AND CONTAMINATED EQUIPTMENT?

No, East West Dive & Salvage maintains dedicated potable water diving equipment that is completely separate from our contaminated diving equipment to eliminate any risk of cross-contamination.

All contaminated equipment is stored in a separate, isolated area well away from potable water equipment. Any equipment designated for potable water works is thoroughly cleaned before being transported to site and undergoes an additional sterilisation process prior to diver entry.
